Hi, I am Sophia!
I graduated from Northeastern University with a major in Bioengineering and a concentration in biomedical devices and imaging in May 2025. My passion lies at the intersection of engineering and healthcare, developing solutions that enhance how we understand and improve the human body. For my most recent project, I created a 3D computational model to simulate product testing for ostomy appliances to streamline innovative solutions.
Last year, I worked as an R&D engineer at Advent Technologies, where I worked on a team managing up to 30 tests concurrently, designed my own experiment, and used Python for data analysis. Throughout my coursework at Northeastern, I did various MATLAB-based projects with biomedical applications.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy engaging in various creative outlets such as painting, sewing, and video editing. I am also an avid reader, F1 enthusiast, and cat lover.
Currently, I am looking for a full-time position as a bioengineer with a special interest in medical devices, but I am open to any opportunities.
